This week Madelyn spent three days at home with Ben, one day with Sandy Jo, and one day with my mom and brother, Latson. It was difficult the first day, but the other days were a lot better. It was great to have such a beautiful baby to come home to every night. I hope it continues that way.
She has begun many new things. She is smiling more though some look more like smirks. She definitely is cooing more especially at night when we put her down. On Tuesday, she went to bed around 10-10:30pm. Once I got downstairs into bed with monitor on all of the sudden she starts cooing like crazy. As I laid in bed and listened to her it was very difficult not to giggle. I am not sure who she was talking to but she was going at it and I enjoyed every minute of it until I realized that I needed to actual get some sleep instead of listening.
Also by morning time she has a new position in the bed. We have a positioner in the bed that keeps her on her back. When I get up in the morning and go in to get her up for her feeding I get a surprise. She has her head in between the wedges on the positioner with the rest of her body hanging off of it or she has her head hanging off and her body still on the positioner. It truly is the funniest thing to see in the morning!
I look forward to experiencing and sharing all the new happenings with Madelyn. The lord truly has given me a wonderful gift and I treasure her every day.
